Blog Sale Nail Mail

You see how that rhymes? Cool, no?

*is chuffed with self*
What? My titles rarely have catchy names. :P

So I purchased from both Jenni's and Ann's blog sales (like, within a day of each other) and the items came on like the same day. It was well cool. I felt like a beast.
I think Jenni's is still going on, so do check it out. She had 58 polishes up for grabs, so I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable!

Look at the gorgeous polishes!

Essie "Bermuda Shorts", American Apparel "Hunter" and "Passport Blue".

Thanks sooo much Jenni, much appreciated :)

I also got two NYX Jumbo Pencils (Milk and Black Bean) from Ann's sale.

Thanks Ann! Again, appreciate it lots :)

And yes, I am wearing Essie "Bermuda Shorts" in that picture. Couldn't wait :P I've had it as a full manicure for two days now, it's glorious. Glorious. Wonderous. Magnificent. Insert superlative of choice, ad nauseum. It's so good I want to track down the rest of this collection.

Await swatches. *salute*

If you've got a minute, would you mind popping over here and giving me a quick vote? The contest ends on the 20th! :) Which is like, today. So if you could get a last minute vote in, I'd be really grateful!

What gems have you picked up from blog sales?

Nail Mail and Bargains of the Week

I won a giveaway over at The Phalanges Files and the generous ChaosButterfly added some extra polishes in!

The glitter is intense. Thanks so much, ChaosButterfly!

Who knew Tesco's did contact lens solution? I spotted this on MakeupSavvy's blog and promptly picked some up myself - way cheaper than buying from an optician - and it can also be used as eyedrops or as a foiling medium.

Over at TJ Hughes they were selling Rimmel cuticle oil for £.99. I picked some up and it's seriously good. I approve.
I forgot to photograph this but TJ Hughes were also doing alcohol hand gel in spray bottles, two for 69p. I like this for sanitising brushes after washing, or quickly if I'm doing makeup on other people.

Nail Mail and a little update

First things first. I recieved this lovely prize from Laura at The Beauty Bite.

If you don't follow already, and you're a makeup fan, please do. Her writing style is informative and witty, and her face is gorgeous. <3

I'll introduce the second part of my post with this.

This is the neutral eye that I wore at school. I usually wear brights but I've been told - sorry, respectfully informed - that the makeup needs to go. So since February is the month of my blogoversary (how quickly does one year go?) I thought that perhaps it was time to do a series on school appropriate makeup looks and a few more nail polish ones, too, as I've been told that is also a point of contention between myself and senior managment. Le sigh.

Anyway. Do stay tuned...

Nail Mail

I was lucky enough to win a prize from The London Beauty Review's New Year giveaway! I got this awesome Royal Brush 12 Piece Silk Pro brush set.
The brushes are insanely soft. I'm tempted to just sit there and move them in circles around my face.
Thank you so much!

Nail Mail O_o

Exciting times, lol. Nothing usually ever comes in the post for me and suddenly I get two things at once so I'm like, "Hell yeah."

I won a giveaway over at Witoxicity! Anne kindly sent me this awesome Rituals lipgloss. It smells divine.

I bought these off eBay for £2.75 (free postage). It's a set of 2000 nail art rhinestones, and they all come in different colours which allows for a bit more creativity. Postage was extremely fast (it arrived about two days after I'd ordered it - and I'd ordered on a weekend!) so yeah, I would order again.

Thank you very much, Anne! Go check out her blog, it's awesome.
